Sod16
Leapin' Lou Fontinato was also one of the best although #9 destroyed him in a fight and it essentially led to fontinato's demise. And one of the most famous photos in hockey history. As part of the NHL concussion suit, I saw a lot of historical stats on fighting in the NHL, and I was surprised at how rare fighting was before the 1967 expansion and even rarer before the war. There weren't that many fights, but they were much celebrated.
