  1. Agreed, the Rangers certainly could use the extra day to rest, reset and do some video review/practice to try and address some of the issues. More importantly, an extra day away from the game to cool off Carolina's momentum (however little) and allowing some of the pressure of another must-win game to creep back into their minds is a good thing.
  2. Anger, disbelief, disappointment, disgust...yup, Rangers fans are probably going through the full range of motions this morning. Can only hope the team understands the gravity of the situation they've put themselves in, puts that stinker in the rearview mirror and comes out a transformed team on Thursday that's playing to win, rather than one not trying to lose.
  3. I'm not sure if Fox is still hurting from that impact with Jensen in the Caps series, but all the leaders need to collectively step up and be better on Thursday because they sure as hell weren't to be seen tonight. Quite simply, the Rangers need to play Thursday like they're the ones facing elimination.
  4. Johnston just passed up the puck on a 2-on-1 with a chance to seal the hattrick on an empty net, this kid sure is something. Colorado is cooked.
  5. Nope in 5. At this point though I'll gladly take Rangers in 6, cause even that feels like a long shot with how lost and lifeless they looked tonight.
  6. I commend your faith in a moment of despair, I really do. But I haven't seen much, if anything, in tonight's performance, that they can build on for Game 6, did you? I guess that's one positive, which is, the game was such a complete stinker from start to finish, that you toss the whole thing in the garbage and erase it from your memory, and go back to basics. Question is, if they can do that or if their confidence has been shaken so much by these last 2 losses?
  7. Fuck me, all that elation after the Game 3 win. Only to come out flat in Game 4, which you write off as the Rangers bounced back well to tie it, only to lose on a timely PP. Then everyone expected a strong clinical performance tonight to close this shit out...and we get this epically flat lifeless performance? Unreal, not the team we've watched all season. If they don't turn things around on Thursday, this is going to turn into a spectacular reverse sweep. And folks, that memory is one which will last a lifetime.
  8. At this point, just forfeit Game 6 and go straight to Game 7, because it seems like with each passing period Carolina builds more confidence and the Rangers heads go further up their asses.
  9. Not sure how they get by Florida with this mentally weak, passive, lifeless shit. Florida's cutthroat approach will eat them up for breakfast.
  10. Even if they get a PP at this point I don't have much confidence in it clicking, they look so vanilla and passive...fucking hell.
  11. Well, let's see if this wakes them the fuck up and get some offense going...
  12. Well, you just knew all that fucking sitting back would come back to bite them ugh!
