He refused to close lanes. He made brutal decisions with the puck. He stickhandles like he is steering a gondola. Ok great, shots blocked. Big hits. But his performance has been horrific the last 2 games.

This whole thing is scary. I don’t recall him taking a shot at all, at least a noticeable one, from any Canes the other night. I hope for the best for the guy. Hopefully it’s just an illness and he’s good to go.

If we jump out fast like we did in Game 1, that may just about do it. That said, can’t rule anything out here. Far too many times have I seen the Rangers give a team a “knockout blow” only for that team to get off the floor. That said, this is a different Ranger team. Carolina will fight. The Rangers are going to have to take it from them. Lets go!!!!!
