I saw a rumor Berube may be close to the NJ job. I have to imagine he would be a front runner for the Toronto one and that may throw a wrench in the Devils plans if true.

The amount of times that the 2 best teams in the league, from each conferences, meet up in a Cup Final is probably so much smaller than any of us can imagine. But Rangers-Dallas or even Rangers-Colorado is what I imagine the US Market would want most. Or even Boston. But fuck them.

I see everyone whining about Sean McDonough not being more animated and being too monotone. But thats not a Ranger thing; that’s just a people complaining to complain. I personally couldn’t care less if he whispered into the microphone when the Rangers score or do anything.

I wonder if he is still shaken up over the hit from Game 4 against Washington. Hes played great. Few times I noticed that Gustafsson got time with PP1 outside of him needing to sit for the beginning of it due to being checked out or just lost in a line change quickly or something along those lines. Its playoffs. All these guys are a little banged up.

Pesce is a huge piece for them that I doubt we see this series. Though he didn’t want to confirm it during that interview he did where he announced Fast would likely be out for the playoffs, his body language made it seem like Pesce would be too. He left the door open but I don’t think we see him. And if we do, he would be at much less than 100%. That was the vibe I got, at least.

They’re going to come out flying. But they did last game too and we handled it well. This Canes team has crumbled under pressure before. Get on the board first and play your game. Leave no doubt and really put doubt in their head in their own fucking house. Lets go!

Dude is a Ranger killer.

Literally came here to say this. His ability to keep the puck in tight spaces while that line is cycling is wild. Usually guys who do that are bigger. It almost reminds me of Michael Nylander when he was here. The puck looked glued to his blade at times. Not saying Wennberg reminds me of that, just the way he is able to control the puck in very tight spaces and keep control of it.

Roslovic had maybe his best night in a Ranger jersey. Dude was flying around and dancing through the defense all night. He had a ton of jump. No points, fine. But he generated a few good looks for the line and for himself.

That was a big swing by Carolina. And the Rangers stood their ground, took it and still grinded out a win. This team can and will play any game presented its way.

Enough Trouba. Enough.

If he keeps taking penalties and can’t clear the zone? He needs to sit. Nevermind Rempe. Trouba is in the box every five minutes and is taking the scenic route trying to clear the zone.
