Yes. He's a strong ES player on a really bad team.

I think it's worth it. He's excellent and the Ducks need to retain their young talent. If I was a fan, I'd still be pissed they missed out on Bedard. lol

I have a feeling this contract will age well. Locked up his entire prime (25-32) for 7 mill right before the cap is about to increase by a decent margin over the next couple years.

 

At worst he's a 25g, 60p player. 7m will be the price for 60p in a year or two.
