But who goes out when neither unit scores?  The 4th line every time?

The first line, the third line, the 4th line. If you play against a top team that puts their 1st line out, maybe you come back with the third line in a checking role. The 1st unit, who last season could play 4 minutes straight, should have no issues going back out there for 45 seconds after a 1 min rest.

All better options than random players that dont play together. Now, you'd actually have options.

I don't see any reason to mess with 1 of the best power plays in the league.  Replace Strome with Trochek or Lafraniere whomever clicks better there.  Why re-invent the wheel?

TO FIX THE FUCKIGN 5 on 5 ISSUES that left the Rangers 2 wins short of competing for a cup.

But hey. maybe you guys are right. Panarin and Zibanejad need each other. Which explains why Strome is gone.

Y'all are missing the point... It's not about Panarin and Zib being split or PP1 vs 2.

Whatever unit Fox and Kreider are on is going to stay out at least 1:20.

Considering how we generally only score on the PP, I'm inclined to let the 25% unit stay intact.

This is my biggest concern, too.

If he’s up for it with the Rangers, he’ll get a shot in the bumper spot on PP1 with Panarin, Zibanejad, Adam Fox and Chris Kreider. Trocheck also kills penalties and is a career 52.1 percent faceoff winner, an area the Rangers have struggled with in recent years.
