not that htey have much, but in my brief, playing with the CapFriendly expansion draft tool, they basically have to choose between exposing Apslund or Bjork. Both of whom I assume they'd like to hold on to

They're unlikely to claim him, regardless. This just allows them to protect all of Rasmus Asplund, Anders Bjork, and Tage Thompson instead of having to pick two and expose the third.

I seriously doubt anyone wants that contract!!! He'll be in Buffalo until they buy him out.

 

He didn't even need a NMC with that deal...it was built in as soon as he signed it!!! :rofl:

Actually, I would rather play hockey in Seattle than Buffalo, expansion team or not. The Sabres, while they do have some nice talent there, are still kind of a mess. Skinner's contract is bar none the worst in the NHL.
