skjeitheday
Fox is a tremendous player but he's not moving any of those forwards on the Islanders out of the crease. Jones isn't anywhere near the player Fox is.

Adam Fox - 5'11" 181 JG Pageau - 5'10" 180 Eberle - 5'11" 187 Beauvillier - 5'11" 182 Palmieri - 5'11" 185 Cizikas - 5'11" 195 Barzal - 6' 187 Seems like they're all the same size. But 82 games worth of turning around and going into the corner to retrieve the opponents dump ins takes a heavy toll. Luckily for Fox, some teams like to pick on Lindgren. If someone has related stats, I’d love to see Hopefully new coach brings in a system where they protect their partners a bit more.

Also having a goalie that can handle the puck like Shesterkin on dump in's, really helps out over the course of a season. I noted a lot of times pucks were "Hard-arounded" on dump in's during the season where Shesty flagged it down and made a quick helping pass or hand off to a D man. It's noticable when Shesty isn't in there how the retrieval for other teams seems a lot higher.
josh
Great point. It’s going to be hard to get used to that after having Lundqvist for so long
Ozzy
Great point. It’s going to be hard to get used to that after having Lundqvist for so long We definitely were a little spoiled having Hank back there, Josh. His quickness to get behind the net and ability to read plays as they developed for opposing team break ins was unreal.
