Shittiest thing about Ranger fandom is that we never play Saturday nights, but you can be sure we get a matinee on either side of it.

 

Agreed. I love Friday and Saturday night games — neither if which they play very often.

 

I'll be watching parts of this one on my phone, maybe. Impossible to have it on all game with the youngun in the house.

This is so true. I feel like we play more boring, half asleep, dead crowd matinee games at home than anyone. Friday nights and Saturday nights are the premier nights for hockey.

Is it on the coach if they aren't ready to play?
Sunday mantinees when they're home Saturday night have been an issue since before I can remember.

 

Even pre-05/06 lockout.

 

If it's the coach's fault, it's every coach I can remember's fault.
