fletch
Challenge: Construct a team with 4 forward lines, 3 defenseman pairings, and 2 goalies. Rules: 1. No current Rangers allowed. We all love the Rangers, and there are other threads where you can put together your favorite line combinations. 2. Each forward line has to be from the same NHL team, and must play together at least semi-regularly this year. 3. Each defensive pairing must be from the same NHL team, and play together at least semi-regularly this year. 4. Bonus points if you have the starting goalie and backup goalie from the same team, but not necessary. If you want 4 scoring lines, that's fine... or 4 checking lines.... or anything in between. Just what combinations you enjoy watching for whatever reason. Just post your lines, or explain your reasoning if you like.
fletch
Landeskog/MacKinnon/Rantanen-Avalanche Miller/Stamkos/Kucherov-Lightning Chiasson/McDavid/Draisaitl-Oilers Ovechkin/Kuznetsov/Wilson-Capitals Suter/Dumba-Wild Trouba/Morrissey-Jets Giordano/Brodie-Flames Rinne-Predators Andersen-Maple Leafs I just went pure offense. We may try to win 6-5, but we will be fun to watch.

fletch
Yeah, it doesn't get much more intimidating than when Pittsburgh puts Malkin and Crosby together. Lucic is a good choice for the McDavid line.
Pete
If the Bergeron line isn't your 4th, you're doing it wrong.
