Phil
With William Nylander signed, the Toronto Maple Leafs will have to make room for the star forward on their roster, which means someone has to be moved. That someone might be Josh Leivo. According to Sportsnet?s Nick Kypreos, Leivo is ?in play? with word from the Board of Governors meetings that ?multiple teams? are interested in his services. On Sunday night, the Leafs sent defenceman Travis Dermott to the AHL?s Marlies to temporarily make room for Nylander on the 23-man roster. With Dermott expected to be called back up, a potential Leivo move would free up space amongst Toronto?s crowded group of forwards. Leivo is set to be a restricted free agent at the end of the season. The 25-year-old makes $925,000 this season. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/maple-leafs-josh-leivo-play-multiple-teams-interested/
