They could be early sellers - Stastny in particular, who is a UFA after the season ends.

 

Steen, Bouwmeester will miss early games and Sanford is out long term.

I doubt they sell early unless it's for help, not to throw the year. With all the injuries they have, they're probably still good enough to compete for a wildcard spot. But if they fall out nearer to the deadline, they'll be in a unique position to sell some talented players as rentals. Like Stastny. Centers always go for a premium.
