Looking quite good for a 7th round pick. Promoted to the first line of his KHL team tonight. Has 6 points in 11 games so far in his first year in the league.

The AHL maybe? He had a pretty good season split between the KHL and Swedish league for a 22 year old. It's definitely possible he has a future as an NHL bottom 6 guy after some adjustment time.

5-9, 180...If you're not good enough to be top 6, then size becomes a bigger issue. You can be small if you're good enough. If you're small and not a top talent then you're Nathan Gerbe.

He's listed at 5'10 180 pretty much everywhere. He scored pretty well in the KHL for a young guy so I'm sure they'll bring him over for a look in Hartford if he wants to come. We have tons of open contract spots this offseason. They drafted the kid, he's not a random player.
