Sucks that the Blue Jackets stellar season is going to end early due to the playoff formats. Would've been playing Ottawa otherwise.

 

Not exactly, if they went with a 1-8 format, MTL would still have the #2 seed due to winning the division. Therefore the BJs would have played the Rangers.
