CreaseCrusader91 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Hey fellas, I'm going to the game tonight with my Dad and want to avoid spending cash on MSG concessions. Where is the best place near or around MSG. Willing to walk a bit but not terribly far. Thanks in advance!
Phil Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 There are a few good bar/grills just south of MSG on 7th Ave. I'd recommend Triple Crown Restaurant. Fairly priced, great atmosphere, and shouldn't be overly packed before the game.
NYR2711 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Brother Jimmy's on 33 and 8th is pretty good, but they get packed real quick. We went at like 5 one night before a game and it was a 45 minute wait, but the food is good there.
EdMc28 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 There are a ton of bars on 7th ave like Phil said, mustang harry's, sally's, flying puck, cafe 31, etc. Last season I always found myself in tracks raw bar and grill for some reason. There really cheap and make a pretty good burger.

Phil Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 The triple crown place looks pretty good, what do you recommend from there? Burger is great, and they have a fantastic traditional Irish menu. Their Irish beef stew is great.
NYRangers92 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Tracks makes a pretty good buffalo/bison burger. Also Blarney Rock. And I think theres a pretty good restaurant next to Stout, but I forgot what its called. edit: Google street view is telling me its called Fiele, but thats not what I remember it being.
NYR2711 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Fried chicken sandwich there is money. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome as well
