Pete
On my phone, can't copy and paste, but T-Mobile is about to adopt the European market of charging full price for devices (paid in installments) with lower fees for plans. High and Wide
Being conservative here, a $500 dollar phone at full cost over 24 months (2 year contract) is $20 a month on top of a phone plan. Looking at their "Value Plans" at $49.99 for 2GB and $59.99 for unlimited data, I am still paying less at $74.99 for Sprint. I see this more as 'Six of one, half dozen of the other' because for those who use unlimited data plans, the cost will even out. Factor in family plans, this becomes even more confusing. Pete
They have the math in the article. Saving $20/mo over 2 years is $480. They aren't charging $500 for the phone. Also, the possibility of taking any phone to any carrier and not have carrier bloatware is nice.
