I don't know if this is hard to keep track of, it's a lot of posts. But I plan to update for all the games for anyone who cares, and I'll likely do it as I'm watching them even if I can't always watch them live. Should I just keep posting post after post when stuff happens or is there some other way? Like one post and keep adding updates? Mods let me know what's preferred.

Yeah I remember that, remember the play too. This was very close to that play. Overcommitted and couldn't get back in time.

Game over, Whale win 4-1. 3 stars 1 Thomas 2 Mashinter 3 Tessier Kreider looked good at times, but also had too many giveaways and turnovers. It would be hard to justify calling him up ahead of guys like Mashinter, Haley, and Thomas, who have all been dominating lately. Can't say enough how impressed I am with the actual hockey skills of Mashinter. Makes so much happen and has really good hands. He and Haley both play the top PP unit and contribute on the PK. With the grit and personality they bring they could be really useful players at the next level. Thomas just looked like a stud tonight, but will have to keep that up. As for McIlrath's game, very physical, nothing flashy, but basically flawless. No mistakes.

Really like what I just saw. Portland Player took a two hand slash to the back of Tessier's legs. Kreider saw it and went straight after him. Then Mashinter and Haley came over to back him up for a momentary brawl before the refs broke it up. This is the kind of personality the Kreider needs to bring every night. Love it. Whale to the 5-3 after the penalties are sorted out. Haley and a Portland player got the gate.

After going 9 games without a point, Haley now has 10 points in his last 9 games, including 3 straight 2 point games and a 4 game point streak.

McIlrath just blew some guy up with a huge hit. Goes off for a penalty but no idea why, hit was completely clean. Edit: Tessier breaks in alone short handed and buries it 5-hole off a beautiful feed to spring him by Haley. 4-1 Whale.

Now Thomas just undressed a defender on his way to the net and got robbed of the hat trick. I lost faith in the kid for a bit, but he's restoring it here. He may be the real deal, absolutely dominating this game and he's 3-3-6 in his last 3 games with this game still going.

Whale have been very good lately. Much different team than the one they started with. I think there's only like 6 forwards in the lineup now that there were in there a month ago.

Thomas coming down the boards and absolutely rips a a shot past the goaltender from the top of the right circle. What a fucking shot.

Kreider with a semi-breakaway on the PK but can't get a shot off. Also Mashinter playing well on the PK. How many goons can say that? Christian Thomas has probably been the best player on the ice. Edit: End of 2 same score. Forgot to mention that Eminger looks like Brian Leetch down here. Rushing the puck up the ice by himself and making all kinds of spin moves. He's passing really well.

Kreider looked pretty good on the PP and deflects a shot right off the post, immediately after he takes a bad hooking penalty in the offensive zone.

Ok so 2-1 Whale after 1. Tessier wins a race to the puck and throws it around to Thomas who scores by banking it off the goalie from behind. Kind of a fluke goal but good hard work. Haley with an assist on the play as well. Kreider is a -1. Got in too deep and left the point men who got an open shot which created a rebound for a goal. Mashinter scores on a beautiful feed from Newbury from the side boards to front of the net where he was wide open. McIlrath looking really good, on for both of our goals and is a +2.

Just ordered the season pass for the Whale since it went to down to half price. I'll be able to provide updates for the games now. Will post after tonight's game. If anyone else is interested it's only $100 for the rest of the season. I hooked it up to the TV so it works pretty well.

Whale won 7-3. Got bored and bought the stream. Mashinter was really impressive. He has top notch hockey skills for a goon. Skates really well and has a big shot. Both he and Haley made some nifty passes that you wouldn't expect from them. Haley looked really fast. McIlrath's mobility looked good, he did a good job positionally and was aggressive in stepping up to the blueline to meet the puck carriers when entering the zone. He needs to be more assertive with the puck though. Saw good effort from Palmieri. Vernace is also doing a very good job down there on D.

Whale are up 6-2 right now with 5 minutes to play in the 2nd period. Gotta say that Haley is really begging for a call-up now. He has 2 goals already in this one. Palmieri also netted his 1st. Still more than a period to play.

Whale with a 4-1 victory. Mashinter continues to put up points with another assist. Haley stays hot with a goal and an assist. Thomas has a big game with a goal and 2 assists. McIlrath drops the gloves and is a +1.

My dog eats poop. It's not that great.
