The biggest observation is the lack of consistent appearances by the vets. This is their team. Zibanejad, Kreider, Panarin, Trocheck, Trouba - can anyone say any of these players is having a “good” season? Should I throw Shesterkin into this group, too? Every game is “where is [list three from the above list]?” at best.

Chytil was close to getting to the 23 pt mark today. He would have had the third assist on the first goal and he’s still shooting. He should break his career totals by 3 or 4 points this season.

Yeah, but playing the game isn’t that simple they shouldn’t have been in OT. That’s the much bigger issue. Again and again.

Neither Kravtsov nor Lafreniere should be sat. Sit a fucking big name player. Goodrow, Panarin, Trouba, Trocheck or we’ll continue to see this exact game throughout the rest of the season. We’ve already seen 20 this season and sitting Kravtsov or Lafreniere doesn’t make Trouba play better, or make him think his play is acceptable.

You can’t put Gauthier out there, though. They’re fucking terrible in OT.

They don’t care. Big boys will still get their checks, probably more icetime, and every PP. no discipline or rescissions for not showing up the majority of the time
