The only characters I really despised as a character was Lori.
Yeah I hated Shane for acting like he did, but his character development and everything was just awesome!
Lori? I just don't understand how she acts.
T-dog and Sophia's mom weren't used that much this season, so I can't say much about them. Feelings are neutral there except I always hated Sophia's mom anyway.
Hershel I like, and I'd be upset if he died honestly. That one moment where that zombie was creeping behind him scared me. Rick to the rescue.
And Daryl is still the man. If I had to pick one guy to walk around the forest with to go hunting for zombies, it'd definitely be Daryl with an obvious different weapon of choice maybe.
But Andrea has an awesome pistol shot
Pretty much agree with everything here. Lori and her stupid kid are my least favorite characters on the show.

What the hell I couldnt even tell that was a "prison" that they showed at the end until "talking dead" came on and they mentioned it
But honestly.. what a frickin awesome season. I love this show.
Lori getting mad at rick made hate here just that much more. Why is she such a stupid bitch?

I wonder to what length season two will reach as a far as book 2 is concerned. Anyone know?
I am assuming theyre not going to do all of book two in season two since there is only so much material to get through and the last (2?) books arent even finished.
-
What a crazy episode. Couldnt believe shane actually went that far.
-
dammit i wanna click all of those spoilers

AFFC is awful compared to the first three books. Story has really come to a grinding halt. Was waiting for something to finally happen in the book and it never came. I really hope ADWD is better.
-
They're all bandwaggoners. They were last in attendance prior to the lockout in one of the biggest sports markets in the world lol
How can you possibly blame them? They iced some of the worst teams for many many years.
Hell I dont even think their games were being broadcast at one point.

Off to Chicago tonight for Rangers/Hawks. :D
Nice! Have fun. I have always wanted to go see a game in Chicago, for some reason it looks like it is a lot of fun to see a game there.

is there an official release date yet?

thats why i am taking my time with AFFC. Well that plus the fact that AFFC is not an easy read.

"Hey Cate, sorry I couldn't make your naked orgy party in your dorm last night.... I was too busy organizing my external meme hard drive!"

Getting a good GPA is like 5% about intelligence and like 95% about hard work anyway. Or like Jimmy said.. just cheat :D

Imagine April first rolls around, we all tune in, and instead of the first episode we get an April fools message the season starts in May. Fuckers!
I am fully prepping for that

I am like 3 episodes in and its pretty good. It honestly feels like the show has no direction at all but its still great to watch lol

Game of Thrones > Breaking Bad >>>>>> Treme >>>>>>>>>>>> Walking Dead > Sons of Anarchy
Oh man I just started season 2 of treme the other day. Love that show.
-
No, it's about the relationships of strangers made family in a post-apocalyptic setting.
Again, the show is called 'The Walking Dead' in reference to the survivors, not the zombies.
The show has substance, I'm not arguing that. I am just saying I wouldn't go out and call it one of the deepest shows out there. I would def. throw GoT out before Walking Dead for starters.
-
Why is that? What show has more depth?
I don't know I did not have any in mind when replying. But I think it's going a little far calling it one of the most in depth shows out now.
It's a good show. But in the end its about a zombie apocalypse lol
-
As far as I'm concerned, this and Breaking Bad are the two deepest and most dramatically written shows on television right now.
I dunno about that dude lol

For me the biggest differences between book 1 and season 1 were minor:
1. The battle between Jamie and Ned where in the show Ned is speared by one of Jamie's guards, yet in the book Ned's own horse falling is what crushes his leg.2. There's much less of a focus on the gods and mythology of the realm in the series than there is in the books, at least thus far. That's certainly likely to change with Melisandre coming in.3. The homosexual relationship between Renly and Loras is really only hinted at in the book, but is up front and center in the series.Things like that.
Ahh yea Ned and Jamie's fight was what I was thinking about. Completely forgot about Renly and Loras' relationship but that is defiinitely another another change I noticed a well.
In a way I kind of like the change in ned and jamie's fight. And I can understand the change in Renly and Loras' relationship. I think it is a lot easier to hint in a book than in a tv show. At least in a manner where there is no questions as to what just happened. With the upcoming changes in the next season I hope they are all as tastefully done as these two.

On talking dead yesterday the writers mentioned that one of the three "what happened to" characters... morgan, duane, and darryls brother will be on the show again in season 3.
