I know he was part of 1994, but they act like Anderson is some team legend or something. He limped through the postseason basically and then was gone. lol

Always hated Anderson attitude ,specially when it cost Doug weight

    I also hated losing Amonte

This team creates so many chances but we are almost universally bad at finishing them.  If we ever had a true sniper on the team he might get 60 goals.  Laffy is one of the worst finishers on the team and it seems like he sees enough chances to get a hattrick every game.

She keeps spreading her legs for you kid but sooner or later you need to bury it if you wanna be a real stud.

I don't think he likes the fishy smell

I’ve outlined why plenty of times. When Kakko has looked the best and most engaged in the past, it was on the kid line. That line got in deep, forechecked, and cycled. I see a similar style with Cuylle-Trocheck, and they can really use someone who moves around better and contributes more than Wheeler.

I’m also not going to sell Cuylle or Trocheck short as mindless checking players. They have skill. It’s not throwing Kakko with Vesey and Goodrow here. The utilization of Trocheck’s line is also not typical of a checking line. They have more OZ starts and faceoffs than DZ starts and faceoffs.

You’re still stuck with an antiquated line number mindset. The Trocheck line is being used as much as the Zibanejad line.

I agree the best Kakko  has looked for is when he played with the kid line

Incorrect. He had great possession numbers with them last year and a solid preseason.

And why does it matter? It's OK for Lafreniere to be gifted time but not Kakko?

I didnt say it was ok for Lafreniere

And his preseason wasn't that great for a first line  promotion ,no candidates and plus he   was second second overall pick is the reason ,he was a second round pick he would even get a sniff on the first line

Kakko has earned the right to be on that line way more than Wheeler, who has been abjectly terrible.

For the crowd who was so gung ho about not blocking Lafreniere and saying he HAD to be in the top 6, it's curious that those same people are rushing Kakko to the 3rd line in a checking role.

Also not sure why anyone thinks Kakko would mesh with Trocheck. Kakko is best when he's controlling play low and Tro never gives the puck up. I wouldn't call that a natural fit at all, so I'm not sure where anyone is getting that from

    Your

sorry ,but the only reason why he is even given this opportunity ,which he doesn't deserve ,was because he was picked number two overall ,he really should be playing on the third line

I am not saying he will never get therehope he does , but right now he is a weak link on the first line
