  1. Fast? Fast doesn't effect the game on the ice enough. He doesn't really do anything. I know he's the nice guy award winner every year or whatever but I don't think he's going to be here after this season.
I'd disagree to an extent I think his work ethic, commitment, and willingness to play any role supports the team mentality. You dont need high end players as captain, remember last year when he was moved up, he was scoring. Hes versatile and one of the hardest workers. Yet I agree its possible this is the last year

  2. Ufa is not what it used to be. In the cap era there is no such thing as signing anyone without giving up assets. When a player signs for 20% of your allotted cap others have to go and future moves cannot be made. Star players are moved all the time. Artemi Panarin is a great player yet he?s not a top 10 player in the league.

Didn?t stamkos go ufa before deciding ultimately to return to Tampa? Duchene is as big as panarin in my book maybe a small step under.

He's not looking at 20% closer to 14.5 to 15.5 right around what he'd deserve

  3. Bolded to emphasize the heading. I won't dare to respond to your unpleasant statement about me. However, I will try to bring you up to date about the final reason he was traded. As I said, the NTC was the sticking point.

Ryan Callahan had to leave New York to find his home

    By Larry Brooks November 17, 2014 | 11:45pm

Talks between his camp and the Rangers stalled and then grew publicly contentious. The Blueshirts were at five years for $30M. They granted permission to third-party GM?s interested in trading for him to talk to his agent. Nobody budged. Then, close to the witching hour, Callahan reduced his asking price to six years at $6M per. The Rangers hemmed, hawed and then agreed.

But, already well down the road in trade talks with the Lightning, general manager Glen Sather would not give Callahan the same no-trade he had given Dan Girardi a week earlier on the defenseman?s six-year, $33M extension.

?I wanted to stay. Honestly, I did,? Callahan said. ?To be the team captain, to have grown up here, I had so much pride in being a Ranger.

    Enjoy reading the factual article.

Honestly taking Brooks as completely factual all the time is beyond laughable

  4. Hardly a false story. Facts are facts.

Callahan may be at end of career with Lightning because of back injury

34-year-old forward has disk disease, will be placed on long-term injured reserve

Provided much of what the NYR are sorely lacking; heart, moxie, toughness, 100% effort on each shift. Multi-dimensional player who wasn't a super star but a valuable asset. Good luck with your health issues.

Just because you bold your statements doesnt make them fact. I'd love to see that the NTC was the reason the Rangers didn't resign him. I highly doubt the asking amount was going to be accepted. Your incorrect revisionary is humorous. Dont state things you cant prove true
