  1. This guy is apparently impressed that I got into SOM as a transfer with a 3.5. Is it really that out there of a thing to happen, SUNY to SUNY? My mentor said it'd be no problem.
  2. Yup they do. But it's competitive, so I'm not sure if I'll make it...maybe time to work on my goaltending again
  3. Does Bing not have club or intramural ice hockey? :( I didn't see it anywhere. I only saw intramural floor hockey
  4. Nah I hear ya. I need the forced interaction, to be honest. I've never been one to be outgoing, so just having my door open and living with an entire floor would be much better for me than living in a suite. And you can really make any room home.
  5. Switched it, because you're probably right. I can go see them anyway, and I need as much help socially as possible CIW is probably the better choice.
  6. Well yeah we already have an agreement set up haha. I supply the TV, she supplies the snacks and we all watch hockey games together. I can't watch hockey games by myself and without food, can I?
  7. Well I figure I'd keep you updated. I ranked my housing as Mountainview then CIW since I've met a few people that applied for Mountainview and they're really cool/some are attractive ;) I have my priorities in order, right?
  8. Probably CIW as my first choice then. Even though one of my closest friends goes there, I definitely need to branch out and be social.
  9. So if I had to make a list of preferences...

Newing, Mountainview, CIW, Hinman in that order?

  10. Just submitted my admissions deposit, so I'm definitely going now :D. I don't get housing info for another couple of days, but do you have suggestions of what the better dorms are?
  11. Haha alright I'll let you know!
  12. Thanks! I appreciate it :) One of my closest friends goes there, so I'll already have a familiar face though I'll want to branch out and meet my own group. I got rejected from Lehigh which was my #1 school (of realistic possibilities), and Buffalo is really far away. McGill is an interesting option, but I don't want to have to live in a foreign city in my own apartment for my first time away from home. Binghamton is only two hours from where I live, has an awesome business school and has a great reputation. I think it'll really grow on me from my previous thoughts, and it's already started to come into a nicer light.
  13. I thought you'd really enjoy hearing this. If I get in to Binghamton, there's a 99% chance that I'm going to enroll.
