Got 2 points, got some stuff to clean up, but let’s go pound some Bud.
-
Trade Fast to Philly. He can warm Chewy’s feet again.
-
To me Kappo is that 1/2 inch away from busting a play, and walking by three guys and tucking one. He’s fighting it a bit and just needs a break through and he will be off and running.
-
Well done third line and Howden. In the paint.
-
Buch :banghead:

Staal was in La la land.
-
Staal
-
Panarin can snap it.
-
Lets do this.
-
Touchdown Tony.
-
F’nn do dah. Let’s play.

I’m hoping Strome racks up 50 points
-
Ryan Strome 65 points

Hartford should be much much better this year based on talent alone. Rangers will surely be keeping a close on a number of players there and quite frankly, it's not a bad place to be. I wish they sent more young players there last year.
Don’t forget coaching in Hartford can’t be any worse than what it’s been for more than a year or two.

Strome was a high pick, put up 50 or so his second year in the league. Then not surprisingly in the Garth Snow gong show east, it went to hell on him. Where does he end up, gong show west in Edmonton. New York was some of his most stable NHL environment since he got to the NHL. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a 60 plus point season out of him. I like the Brassard comparison he came from a shitshow in Columbus and took off. Hopefully Strome who the Rangers need to, has a career season.

After last seasons finish Strome job as second center was his to lose or a young guns to beat him out. I guess we see what Quinn thinks about it on Thursday night. I think he’s number two, Howden three, Andersson four, Chytil in Hartford getting some wake up love, to start. Andersson and Howden could obviously flip flop, but Andersson, McKegg, and Lemieux could be a hell of a energy injector fourth line to start. The good news is Quinn has some really tough choices to make just to pick the team, followed by a lot of roster flexibility to make up a lineup, where I suspect the third and fourth lines will be a bit of a moving target to start the season.

DeAngelo is right there with Trouba and certainly could pass him as the number 1 pp guy. I think by the looks of his two games and development last season he’s going to have a excellent year for the Rangers. This crap I’ve seen everywhere since Fox got signed and hadn’t played a game in the league yet was better than DeAngelo and blah blah blah is hopefully put to bed. At least until he actually proves he is. At this point in time Fox’s biggest worry should be making the team.

Lemieux had a pretty good game looking like he is ready to go to start the season.
-
It’s the same kid that destroyed McLeod last season
He has a huge advantage when all McLeod can hit is a half shield.
-
He has to wear one. New rules - can?t take it off either
I know, but he?s still a pussie.
-
Lemieux learned well from pops.
-
These cak suckers with shields on that fight. :paddle:
-
Probably not. He's earned it...
Probably end of the line for Boo.
Ya Boo is close, but he just can’t get there.

Is there any way McKegg doesn’t start the season in NYC?
Another "Ruff" Defensive Year?
in New York Rangers
