Indy 500 was a fun race this year and went right down to the wire. I liked the passing and re-passing to 'git 'er done!' F1 would be a lot more fun with more passing. Monaco didn't end up the complete disaster I thought it was going to be for my boys. LEC has to be awfully pissed at this point. Gave up a win and now the team effs-up big time. Geez!

 

I was sharing with my son that maybe, just maybe we can scoot up to Montreal at the last minute to catch the race and he said, "Let's wait unit Ferrari is a bit more competitive." I don't necessarily agree with that, but I appreciate not having to rearrange my work schedule to try and make it work this year.

STL wins in OT! Out-worked BOS this game and came out strong in OT. You could see it coming once the delayed penalty was called...BOS was frozen in their tracks. Good series. Go 7 games and punish the crap out of each other.

IF we don't make some D changes this summer, this logjam will begin to feel like constipation come October. Our crappy D needs a good dump!

@Ozzy - Agreeing with this. Swallow hard everyone and prep for another challenging season to build a solid foundation. I can watch another 'rebuild' season just as long as we stay competitive and get to see plenty of newbies on the bench. Oh yeah, and some changes on D. Take a step forward and don't try to run too fast. We're not winning the Cup in 2018-19.

SJS down by 2 and unable to break through. Two ?own? goals is the difference but that?s hockey.

Every goal in the playoffs should be subject to at least a 1 second review by an upstairs ref.

 

That miss was ridiculous if you’re following the play I dunno how you could possibly miss it.

For a second there, I thought we were watching the Rangers getting screwed over by the refs! I get the rule, but a new one should be instituted; Review all playoff goals OR review all OT goals. One way or the other, the NHL has to fix this.

Man, BOS bitch-slapped the 'Canes. While not wholly unexpected, it was sad to see. BOS smothered CAR like a blanket last night and Rask? Gotta' hand it to the guy...he looks dialed in for sure.What was the stat they showed? He made 90-of-91 saves going into that third period? I must applaud the performance. Now go on a lose to SJS or STL.

The final score in Game 1 is not indicative of just how close this game actually was played. Rask had a great night. CAR made some bone-headed penalty plays in the third. Goalie pulled and 2 empty netters result. Lots of hockey to be played in this series. Don't put gas in the Duck Boats just yet. #hateboston
