Dog owners of BSBH,
My mom ended up getting another dog, 4 days later. She has been so depressed and she couldn't take not having another dog. I understand people cope with it differently, but I can't even seem to think of them having another dog around the house.
Would you guys get another dog or do you wait awhile before deciding on another?

I definitely need a bluetooth headphones.
-
always liked those gummy ones. But I do go out and buy the apple ones. I just like them. I actually lost my pair, I should go and buy them.
-
Thanks dude. She's resting now, I'm glad she's not shaking and feeling like crap now. Just not sure how I'll handle it once I get home.
-
Damn, I'm sorry, Mike. :(
Hope everything gets better for you soon.
Thanks. I figured they might get negative results today so I kinda said goodbye this morning but I don't feel like it was enough.
-
Thanks guys, now I know how it feels. I hope they go painlessly
-
And even worse news, we might have to put my dog down :(
She has diabetes, 11 years old, her liver is bad.
They want too much for hospitalization, we're all miserable right now

I had the same problem, saw my doctor, was prescribed amitriptyline for it and the headaches are a lot less frequent now. Have your doctors tried those for you?
Took those, didn't help. I'm on gabapentin now.
And Jimmy, I'm actually taking those currently but I hear they take months to realize an effect

A year and half later, and I still have the headaches that I was bitching about last year.
I've been to so many doctors for this headache. Now currently seeing neurologist and I've taken almost every single medicine out there. Muscle Relaxants, antidepressants, anti-convulsants.

No, I wish I did though. I have just been a fan of them since I was a little kid. Always have been, always will be.
It's just a habit, it's not like I do it on purpose. Idk, just something i've always done.
Ah, gotcha. Cool cool

I used to say "we". Lately, been saying they.

Did you go to Ohio State?
-
For big shows yes. Aladdin, Lion King, Book of Mormon, Wicked, etc. sell out very quickly. You want to be on there the first day or so to nab tickets.
Okay, thanks. Looking for Aladdin and/or possibly Lion King

Saw a Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder last night. It's fantastic. Really a good show. The music is good, but nothing spectacular. The acting is what really carries it. Jefferson Mays is incredible given what he as to do. Absolutely makes the show. If you're into theater it's a show worth watching. Broadway Week is soon so you can buy discounted tickets too.
Consider me interested for various theater shows. Thanks.
Aladdin is on there for my mom. She wanted to see that. I might want to see Curious Incident of Dog or Lion King
Do these tickets go really fast?

I haven't had an issue. I'm usually in WIFI range so I can stream whatever I want. When I'm on the road, I quickly save a playlist prior to leaving. The best part was seeing a show on Saturday then being able to have access to the music of all three opening acts afterwards to check them out.
I have sprint so streaming music is pretty much a shitty idea for me lol
-
 Good luck
lol it only sucks because I cannot get a bigger SD card for music now. Kind of pointless almost if I'd like to download music and listen freely
-
Both. You can either stream or you can download the music and store it to your phone to listen to later.
Eh, well I'll have to wait until I get a superior android.
16gb iphone won't be okay with this. I never have enough storage already.

I still have my baruch e-mail address so I could sign up for $4.99 as well, problem is...I hate that it's all digital and we don't keep our music when we unsubscribe.
I'd end up paying all that $$ and if they close down, I won't be able to keep anything.
Then again, I might be interested..it seems cool to have a huge selection of music to download.
Problem is, does the music on Spotify download to your phone or am I allowed to access all of my songs on Spotify without it putting dents into my phone storage?

I give shows a TON of leeway. A show has to royally fuck up its plot and characters in order for me to stop watching it. The Walking Dead hasn't even come close to that. I don't think I'd ever stop watching it.
That's the point. I give it leeway too, and I am not even sure why. Season 1 was by far the best season, in my opinion.
-
Yes because a few people in this thread are a huge percentage of that viewership.
-
Meh, I found the episode boring until the end.
-
Slow paced is good when you are doing back story or a more in depth look at characters once or twice a season after a lot has gone on.. seems like the majority of them are just kind of slow this season. I get that there are a lot of new characters on the show but the pace can definitely be picked up. The Abraham episode I felt could have been done in half the time. Too many quiet moments where nothing is happening in that episode and last nights episode. Its like they wanna stretch it out now because they are catching up to the comics or something (I do not know if they are anywhere near where the comics are or if they are even on the same trajectory, it just feels like that).
But like I said I am not complaining because I am still enjoying the episodes.. pace is just.. weird.
I wish they did these episodes going back and forth establishing it. Instead, they are making it linear and showing a very small group of people.
I'm not into this linear way of doing back stories.
-
thought the episode was great. looks like next week's episode will be action filled.
I will say that that though the episode was good, it definitely had a really slow pace to it again. I don't remember this many slow paced episodes in one season before.
I miss the fast pace episodes. I'm thinking these slow paced ones really turn me off because the fast paced ones were so good.

Get yourself an Xbox one and get the kid a tablet with games loaded on to it
This.
I'm not a huge fan of the Wii, but it's definitely going to be tougher for a 4-5 year old than a tablet.
Xbox ones are cheap nowadays, so you can go the Xbox1/tablet route and he'll be okay with the xbox in 2-3 years.
