Abe Froman
They could put a #5 in front of the net so pucks can bounce in the net off of it, or deflect directly to the other team. I especially liked his direct pass to Ovechkin that ended up in the back of the net. 4EverRangerFrank
absolute fuckin warrior. what a career. I forget which episode of SPittin Chiclets it was, but Whitney was telling a story about how Girardi almost quit hockey when he was in the ECHL but his dad convinced him to just finish out the season and think about it then. He wound up getting up to the AHL by the end of that year and eventually made his way to NY, and signed himself a pretty ticket along the way. I consider G a Rangers legend. maybe not 'retire his number' status but a legend nonetheless ^I'm totally on board with this! Absolutely a warrior. G ate more pucks than we can count -- that would be a stat to learn. How many shots did he block as a Ranger? In his career? Guy will be black-and-blue for years recovering from those blocks. I'm on the fence about the number retirement but he should get a night of honor at MSG to celebrate his time with us.
NYR2711
Congrats to Danny G on a great career. Would love to see him come back and work with the young defensemen.
