What in God's name is going on with this team? Sure most of the top players are out, but Boone is doing himself no favors.

How can you manage a team that just had 18 strikeouts against a team that will not make the playoffs, and STILL lose two straight series at home against said terrible teams in BAL & DET?

HOW CAN THIS TEAM SLEEP AT NIGHT??

Yankees are built to hit HRs and hit HRs only. This has been the case for three years now and Cashman is on record saying this is how you win.

Unfortunately, it's not true in the playoffs. And while they may win 100 games eventually, they might strike out more than any team in the league this season.

They play in a Slo-Pitch Stadium, it's inevitable that they'll build their teams that way, and it's the correct way anyways, according to pretty much every FO in baseball.

Power and OBP are the best attributes in any baseball player.

Went to the Royals/Yankees game last night, good win for the Royals . I was in a suite and had Mickey Rivers talking my ear off for just about the entire game. Quite interesting the stories he told. Cecil Fielder was also in the suite until 1st pitch then jetted out, didnít seem like he was a happy camper.

CC did it. He is only the 17th pitcher and 3rd left-handed pitcher to reach 3,000 strikeouts.

It doesn't appear to be serious, but you're right not catching any break.

Was a pretty bone head move on Stanton's part trying to take third and he was out easily after the weak attempt at a slide slamming down on his knee and then getting his hand stepped on in the process.

Yankees have not been looking to great right now. The starting pitching has been a real problem by losing in humilating fashion in three games (maybe four) in Boston.

Which is why NYY needs to get an ace such as Wheeler, and Stroman.

DON'T GET SYNDERRGARD! The Mets are looking for too high of a price to trade Thor. Watch they won't retain his salary. (Fred Coupon being Fred Coupon)

Astros acquire Greinke added to Verlander and Cole is going to be tough to beat

Gardner should be suspended for acting like he's 8 years old.

Already thin at starting pitching, the Yankees lose Domingo German to a domestic violence suspension.
It's much bigger than sports. I get it. It's awful and i'm glad it gets dealt with. So this may come out wrong....I would think athletes at the professional level would have even more incentive to avoid these situations.

Strong showing tonight. A lot of big hits. DJ Lemahieu was the bomb minus the dropped popup.

Total Disgrace! Get your act together for Game 5, or the Season's Over!

I'm a Mets fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Nats win their first one.
