Phil
Certain content can be automatically embedded. Links from the following sites are supported: College Humor, Coub, Dailymotion, Facebook, Flickr, Funny Or Die, Gfycat, Google Maps, Hulu, Instagram, ReverbNation, Screencast.com, SmugMug, SoundCloud, Spotify, TED, Twitter, Ustream, Vimeo, Vine, Wistia, YouTube, and internal links to content within the community. No matter what platform you are on — PC, tablet, or phone — simply copy and paste the link to the content, wait just a moment. Invision should automatically embed the content for you. No more code. No more buttons. No more barriers.
Phil
Bumping this for relevance. Please, if you're posting tweets, include the link for mobile users. When using the app, tweets do not embed, so the link is very helpful to ensure everyone is able to see the contents. Morphinity 2.0
This is MUCH easier now. Just paste the link to the tweet in the post/reply area, hit Enter/Return, and wait a couple seconds. It will automatically embed the Tweet.
Phil
Yup. Beat me to it. Phil
I've updated the OP here, as this extends well beyond just Twitter. Please review the OP for a more detailed list of sites with built in automatic embed support.
Phil
Quick PSA here: when copying and pasting, depending on your browser/device, the text may come in as rich text and not auto-embed right away. There's a built-in remedy for this. When you paste a tweet link and it doesn't format right away, look at the bottom of the post field. You'll likely see a box asking you to paste as plain text. Click/tap that. Your tweet will now come in as plain text and will automatically embed. 1
