I think this team (on the back of Igor) made it as far as could be expected. They could have easily blown the Carolina series and honestly the Panthers serious while overmatched I thought the Rangers battled hard and hung in there nearly every night. Panthers are clearly the more well rounded team even if the Rangers had the advantage in net. Oh well. Older I get the less upset I become. I Appreciate all the dialogue here that I quietly follow these days rather than take part in. I find this place a valuable source for info and opinions that matter to me. Peace!

Losing Randle ended the chance of legitimately competing for a championship. Have to consider this season a success through all the adversity.

The league is a mess with regards to the points. Yea, it’s been this way for years but it needs to be changed. Isles and Caps in is sort of a joke. Not to say they can’t steal a series but neither really earned it IMO. Bring on the 3-2-1 point system or change OT/and dumb shootout point awarding.

If Detroit chokes tonight and Pens win....Pens, Caps and Flyers are still alive. Caps and Flyers play last game of season. Pens vs. Isles.

Atleast they are winning.... Hockey so unpredictable any given night. Bruins, Red Wings and Preds all losing games you'd think they'd be up in after 1 period. I'll take a lead.
