  1. If NYR are up against FLA (or even BOS) I could see using Rempe again to help set the tone and establish a physical presence. But don't underestimate the Chytil story. He's been an MSG fan favorite for awhile. He scores a couple and it is a magical, epic tale of overcoming adversity.
  2. I didn't mean to dismiss your argument out of hand. This was always going to happen at some point. I really do think that the pressure the Canes were under to win was going to naturally tamp down shenanigans. That and the need for fresh legs (that Lav trusted) made this as good a time as any. I could see him coming back early in a FLA series (should NYR make it there) and continue to provide usefulness, but we needed different tools tonight.
  3. I could not have, with a straight face, possibly have predicted that the Rangers would win their first 7 playoff games - including 3 vs CAR. Holy fucking shit.
  4. I just don't think the argument is significant in the larger scheme of the game.
  5. Rangers are playing CAR even after 2 in their barn in a must-win game for them. We're in prime position to take this in the 3rd - a period that Rempe doesn't generally participate in. And we have fucking Chytil, who I guarantee plays if there is an overtime or two. Get over it and watch the game. It's pretty good.
