Laviolette has had an excellent season and playoffs...up until this game right here. If he can make an effective adjustment and light a fire under this teams ass, he's the guy no doubt. I'm down for some crazy shit. Zac Jones for Trouba. Even f'n Quick for a game. But something real has gotta be done for game 6. If we revert back to GG and DQ ineffectiveness for the rest of this series. We fucked, and gonna have to make a serious change or two in the offseason.

i don't think bread has been locked in yet. he's come through no doubt - but i could see him having potential to dominate if he really clicks in. hopefully this last one really loosens him up.

this couldve been the rangers most impressive game of the season for me. this was a game the canes shouldve been dominating throughout, and the rangers just patiently stuck with it, grinded and let the momentum shift back in their direction. only caveat is that they couldnt close it out on the pp with 10 min left, or take a shot for the empty net before the canes tied it up. that was a bit frustrating.

its possible us ranger fans are traumatized by a lot of the pathetic play in our last three playoff appearances...but those could very well be attributed to horrendous coaching
