Phil
Watching from the start. About 10 or 11 episodes into the first season so far. Why the hell did I never watch this on television?! Gut-busting hilarity!

Herman_NYRBlog
Started this winter. Incredible show. Sad that it went off the air considering how much crap is on TV.
NYRangers92
Fox replaced the show with "Skating with Celebrities". Enough said
Patrick Bateman
This show is off the air because people like shows like "Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men"
NYRangers92
and Community is going to suffer the same fate because of it. Big Bang Theory especially. People are dumb and dont want to watch smartly written shows, but instead watch dumbly written shows about smart people. The day a Chuck Lorre show doesnt have a bathroom-humor joke in it will be the day that show is no longer affiliated with Chuck Lorre

Phil
So shows that use a laugh track can't be funny? I disagree. Friends was one of the funniest shows in history and it used them too, so too did dozens of sitcoms.
NYRangers92
Friends used a live audience. Pretty positive. And all those sitcoms actually had well written jokes to laugh at, unlike BBT
Phil
I guess. This thread is for Arrested Development, anyway.

Shows with laughtrack can be hilarious, but shows who use a laugh track like 8 times a minute are terrible
TwoMinutesForNothing
What's the point of laugh tracks? What do they think it's accomplishing?
NYRangers92
masks bad/lazy/unfunny writing. Well written shows like Arrested Development dont need them (if it was a traditional sitcom)
Patrick Bateman
What's the point of laugh tracks? What do they think it's accomplishing? The average TV viewer needs to be told when to laugh
TwoMinutesForNothing
The average TV viewer needs to be told when to laugh That's definitely the message it sends, kind of insulting to someone with a brain.

Johnnydollaz18
Here's some new news on 4th season all being aired on Netflix. And to make it up to you for that frustrating prolonged wait, they’re taking away any further delays (other than the actual production this summer) by debuting all 10 episodes on Netflix at once. That’s right: On one to-be-determined day next year, you’ll suddenly have the entire fourth season of Arrested Development to watch, and possibly the need to find a plausible excuse to get out of work.
