Am I the only one who hates the long ass trailer?

I don't hate it, but yes, I agree that it's about 3 minutes too long.

If you've read the graphic novels then the trailer spells a lot out for you.

I'm amped.

Going to be an awesome season. Mo' people = Mo' problems!

I don't mind it. She plays the role well.

It grinds right down my spine when she talks. I think Liev's is perfect, likely because he's just a better actor. With him it's noticeable, but much more subtle.

When Morgan explained how Duane died, didn't he say she (his turned wife) was standing over him? If so, didn't he kill her at the end of that first episode anyway?

No. IIRC, he couldnt pull the trigger.

Morgan's return alone was amazing.

 

I was a little shocked at how callous the entire group was in refusing to pick up the back-packer, but it was also symbolic of the whole "dead inside" mentality, and the "everyone is a threat" thing.

Great episode. The Morgan we see on the show is a bit more unhinged than he is in the comics. He is just what the group needs though at the moment, especially after seeing how he has set up the town, his diagrams etc. "It's like a beautiful mind in the zombie apocalypse". Morgan needs them as well, he just doesn't realize it....yet.

First couple episodes were hard for me to get into, but now I am fully enthralled in it. Next few episodes are going to be awesome.
