I know some guys that played in the 2.Bundesligga They never played higher than junior 'c' here. Sounds like the 2. and the eredivise are probaby on par with OHA senior 'b' in Ontario. But.. they probably get paid in Europe.

Yeah really.. You gotta think he has to live for at least another 10 years at the pace he writes to finish this thing. And he doesn't look lik ethe most healthy fellow does he? lol

By the time the next one comes out, I will have to read the whole series again to even have a clue what's going on.

That's all true, and I was thinking the same thing, but I was hoping for some I guess. I thought the Lannister/Stark encounter in Kings Landing was pretty nifty.

I just watched the whole series in 3 days, and I thought it was fantastic. Most of the characters were bang on in my mind. The only one that pissed me off was The Mountain that Rides. He looks like a normal dude. All in all, they are doing an awesome job, but will they be able to get through every book? That's a long ass time. Oh and the battle scenes, or lack there of. I know the book doesn't really go into detail either, but something would have been nice.

Well, I'm done all 5 books now, and I'm quite pissed. I'm worried George dies before he can bring any finality to this series. I wish they would just let him publish a 2000 page beauty.

I didn't really believe what I was reading at that point. I had to read 3 or 4 times until I understood it. And just like Phil I had to put the book down for awhile. About 20 minutes. Lol.

[spoiler=Lots of Spoiler Stuff]I'm almost done book 3 and I won't watch the show until I'm done the series. Martin is just a master storyteller. I was almost in a groove with the series, just waiting for the Starks to come together and take the north back and then BAM they are all dead. I had to put the book down and go out and have a smoke to think about it. I find myself saying "mayhaps" or "the others with you" At work. People think I'm retarded. Thanks to this board for Illuminating this series for me.
