My guess it's 10 or more games. The League is deeply embarrassed by what happened (of course it was all of their making but that wont get in the way) and someone needs to pay for that.
-
Go F yourself Bettman. love how he says the Rangers comments aren't "fair" lol, really dude?? Hope you get fired along w your whole staff!! I'm hoping it's not just the Rangers frustrated with this one. This league should be incredibly embarrassed.

It matters not if we lose every fight or lose 12-0. A point needed to be made to a fucking dirty team who approves of a dirty scumbag's actions and also the NHL who let it slide. Mission accomplished. Hope it continues. Also hope we get some heavyweights off-season and have them on the ice first game against the Caps next year. Don't fight just cheap shot small skill players with intent to injure. Bettman says its OK.

Pretty sure Wilson got tossed. Time to take liberties on the Washington skill players and let them know why each time. I also really think we need to run Voracek 3 or 4 times. Putting on the foil coach!!

My guess within 24 hrs last game

10-4 wasn't aware. Thanks

My guess based on the Trouba Lindgren scratch is that they lay down and cower and lose the game by a large margin as well. If so I will be embarrassed to be a Rangers fan tonight!
-
Just saw Trouba and Lindgren are being pulled from the lineup for the season. Trouba and Lindgren seem like the type to want to take care of business tonight. This weak assed team. Holy cow!
-
I'm sure your both right. Winning a meaningless game for both teams will really set things right LOL. Argh

JD and Gorton should discuss with Quin and if he wont do it dont have him at the game tonight. You have to respond to this!
-
All seriousness after watching the video. The Rangers MUST retaliate physically against not one but multiple skill players on the Caps tonight. As has been mentioned in the thread numerous times this is the only way to deal with a goon taking liberties on your star players. Hopefully we can make up for the lack of suspension with multiple injuries for the playoffs. Id start by making sure at least one person from each line runs the goaltender and we can go from there.
you take liberties you have to pay. Otherwise liberties will be taken by everyone against you.

We need to do call ups like the Syracuse Bulldogs against the Chiefs. Get Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken. Ogie Oglethorp and Clarence "Screaming Buffalo" Swamptown on the ice tonight to deal with the problem

Would they tell me if it’s a plant and how to kill it?
We’ve got way too much landscaping shit, here.
I'm partial to creating a localized bonfire and incinerating the offending green matter

I feel like i'm in a demented support group and just realized I wasn't alone after reading this one:
"COME TO US WITH A PROBLEM ONLY IF YOU WANT HELP SOLVING IT. THAT'S WHAT WE DO. SYMPATHY IS WHAT YOUR GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOR."
Ya gotta love'm!

They're called The Olympic Athletes from Russia now...
And they are females with 40" biceps and full beards. Oh wait, that was during the cold war! Nevermind

^@rmc51 post - very accurately stated IMO
That said, I'm still not a fan of moving him. He might never become Malkin, but he's showing signs of becoming very good.
Sure hope he never becomes Malkin then I will have to hate him

First off, welcome aboard my friend!!!
I'm ancient enough to say I saw Leetch as a rookie and watched him very closely as he developed. Leetch was a phenomenal skater and could "think the game" as well as the Coffey's, Bourque's, Housley's and Chelios' of that era. I think when the Rangers acquired Messier, Leetch absolutely took off! That's when he hit elite status in my eyes.
The broken ankle hindered him for a while but I think it hampered him more as he got older.
Fox has a similar start to his career, and he looks very promising. Actually I feel as though Fox has caught on faster than Leetch did, way back when. There's no doubt we've caught lightning in a bottle with Fox. He's a pleasure to watch game in and game out!!
Thank you sir. I am also ancient and saw my first game in the blueseats w/ My dad in 1976 as a spry 9 year old. It was the Flyers and the inevitable beatdown ensued when 4 Flyers fans started shooting their mouths off. Good times!! I think your comments on this are spot on with the speed of development! Really hope the ultimate outcome is as good. It'll be fun watching it develop.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug! lol

Agreed and i think Kreider has really stepped up in terms of leadership. I really think they ought to give him the C

Wingers are much more easily replaced than centers, so if he's the key to making a trade for Eichel work, you do it. The team can build another Buchnevich, eventually. Or buy one in free agency.
Agreed 100%

Was thinking the same thing as I've watched the last several games Sharp. His feel for the game and knowing when to take a risk is frighteningly similar. The first time since Leetch in his prime i find myself tracking a defenseman constantly in a game.

I'm not concerned.Everyone has a bad stretch at work over the years. He is working hard. I think he will work through it.
