  1. It matters not if we lose every fight or lose 12-0. A point needed to be made to a fucking dirty team who approves of a dirty scumbag's actions and also the NHL who let it slide. Mission accomplished. Hope it continues. Also hope we get some heavyweights off-season and have them on the ice first game against the Caps next year. Don't fight just cheap shot small skill players with intent to injure. Bettman says its OK.
  2. All seriousness after watching the video. The Rangers MUST retaliate physically against not one but multiple skill players on the Caps tonight. As has been mentioned in the thread numerous times this is the only way to deal with a goon taking liberties on your star players. Hopefully we can make up for the lack of suspension with multiple injuries for the playoffs. Id start by making sure at least one person from each line runs the goaltender and we can go from there.

you take liberties you have to pay. Otherwise liberties will be taken by everyone against you.

  3. I feel like i'm in a demented support group and just realized I wasn't alone after reading this one:

"COME TO US WITH A PROBLEM ONLY IF YOU WANT HELP SOLVING IT. THAT'S WHAT WE DO. SYMPATHY IS WHAT YOUR GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOR."

    Ya gotta love'm!

  4. First off, welcome aboard my friend!!!

I'm ancient enough to say I saw Leetch as a rookie and watched him very closely as he developed. Leetch was a phenomenal skater and could "think the game" as well as the Coffey's, Bourque's, Housley's and Chelios' of that era. I think when the Rangers acquired Messier, Leetch absolutely took off! That's when he hit elite status in my eyes.

The broken ankle hindered him for a while but I think it hampered him more as he got older.

Fox has a similar start to his career, and he looks very promising. Actually I feel as though Fox has caught on faster than Leetch did, way back when. There's no doubt we've caught lightning in a bottle with Fox. He's a pleasure to watch game in and game out!!

Thank you sir. I am also ancient and saw my first game in the blueseats w/ My dad in 1976 as a spry 9 year old. It was the Flyers and the inevitable beatdown ensued when 4 Flyers fans started shooting their mouths off. Good times!! I think your comments on this are spot on with the speed of development! Really hope the ultimate outcome is as good. It'll be fun watching it develop.
