I was very underwhelmed by the design, like others have mentioned the jersey looks fine with all of the other equipment but it could have just been better with a few tweaks.
They sold a million of them already so they're laughing all the way to the bank.

If you're smart, just like the old days then there's nothing to be concerned with in Penn Station. It's the same bums who have been there for years, still doing the same crap trying to get money or booze from the folks who pass by. I pass through walking my girlfriend to and from the train a few times a week and in all honestly I feel safer than I ever have before. The place is probably as clean as you'll ever see it, and there is probably the same law enforcement presence as pre covid but with 90% less commuters it feels like way more if that makes sense.
The only time I'd argue that the station is unsafe right now is from 2-4 when most of the union folks are getting on their trains home and the mask compliance is low.
As for attending games at MSG, i hope as a season ticket holder that they don't let fans in this season. I've been one to always try and get to as many games as i can personally but I can't imagine the bloodbath that my family, and friends who are fellow STHs would take on resale with the lack of tourists and fans who are willing to go to games. I've spoke to my rep a number of times during the past few months and he's echoed that MSG will be working with season ticket holders who have health concerns and that ultimately the decision to have fans in the stands is up to Cuomo and deBlasio. I don't see a scenario where Cuomo okays events inside before the end of the hockey season, I'm holding out that I'll be able to watch the Mets in person next summer at best.

Some dude wore a suit on a mini golf date and he started chirping him from the sidewalk. Hilarious shit.

I saw a fellow board member crossing 34th street at 7th avenue tonight. Thought about saying something but then I realized how freaking creepy it was that I recognized someone from here.

It's also carpeted
I didn't even notice that today lol.

It looks so generic, like yet another typical parking lot cookie cutter arena. What makes it cool?
The concourse in the lower bowl was like a big mall. They had a huge bar with live music right outside my section and there was a cheese steak grill not too far away.

The Wells Fargo Center is a pretty cool place to catch a game. SEPTA on the other hand? Disaster.

Both lol

Went to Stout for the first time yesterday to watch the USA game. Wasn't impressed, very over ratted IMO.

On the westbound LIRR train from Huntington to Penn -- person hit by the train and pinned under it. Brutal.
That's the worst. I heard the announcements in Penn saying service was suspended at Queens Village due to police activity. I can't imagine what the engineer must feel like, absolutely nothing that they can possibly do to stop the train that quickly.

Talbot gave up 7 goals on 20 shots. Yikes.

Pack lost tonight to Albany in a shootout.

Been dealing with food poisoning all day. This really sucks. We went out to diner with friends last night in Sayville and all 5 of us are sick today, some of us worse than others. I just can't keep anything down today.
What diner? The one on main street/Montauk highway?

Driving down my block heading home from the deli as I'm approaching a intersection that I have the right of way at ( no stop sign on my corner ) this lady in a white SUV blows the stop sign and makes a ridiculously wide right turn into my lane nearly hitting me head on and forcing me to drive on some guys lawn. There are more idiots driving in bay shore than anywhere else on long island, I'm convinced.

I'm in high school and slowly setting a name for myself in school. I no longer have one of my trademarks.
is this a good thing or a bad thing?

It's a shame to see what MSG has come in recent years. 90% of the old timers have passed, moved on, or simply have been priced out. Folks who actually care about the team are lucky to be able to afford to go to a handful of games a season if they're lucky and the atmosphere gets worse every year. The physical renovation of MSG didn't kill the atmosphere, there were plenty of games in the 2013-2016 run where it got pretty loud inside but the latest price increase in the last season we made the playoffs was the final nail in the coffin for the few "Diehards" who were barely holding onto tickets.
When I think back to the first year I got season tickets i remember there were hundreds of people who went to each and every game. From game 1 of the pre-season, through the final regular season or playoff game. Now there are maybe a handful of every night folks, and a hundred or so "regulars" who you consistently see around the building most nights.
At this point its way more fun to see them play on Long island or to make a vacation out of it and see them play in Vegas, Florida, or another nice city. The atmosphere is better, its cheaper and year over year more and more fans are showing up on the road so you feel like a part of something cool.
