The stand-ins where of course from Kamelot, my mistake.

So anyway, I read the same comments from Hulopainen & co. they made when they fired Tarja 5 years ago.

"Band is going in different directions" blabla.

I think he miscalculated when he scouted the new vocalist after he fired Tarja and now wants to go back to the old days. Won't work of course.

They really should have ended Nightwish back then, might have made them looked good and not like the greedy bastards they are.

So I hear Nightwish has fired Annette Olson and replaced her (for now) with Floor Jansen.

I can't stop laughing, especially after finding some YT videos were they used the Epica backround vocalists as stand ins, both with sheets of paper in their hands, cause they didn't know the lyrics. lol

you once introduced me to a dutch metal band with a female singer on the old board.

I am currently trying to remember, what the name was.

Could it have been Delain?

Don't wanna continue to be off topic in the pictures thread and that topic goes nowhere fast anyway. Just wanting to ensure again, that it was just a comment I couldn't avoid making. ;)

As far as I know my grandparents were normal people, not members of the party, one a private with the Pioneers on the eastern front (starting being soldier in 42) and the other a sailor on a small minesweeper.

First one wasn even imprisoned by Gestapo for a while, as he was part of the "Swing Kid"-movement in Hamburg.
