Don't wanna continue to be off topic in the pictures thread and that topic goes nowhere fast anyway. Just wanting to ensure again, that it was just a comment I couldn't avoid making. ;)

As far as I know my grandparents were normal people, not members of the party, one a private with the Pioneers on the eastern front (starting being soldier in 42) and the other a sailor on a small minesweeper.

First one wasn even imprisoned by Gestapo for a while, as he was part of the "Swing Kid"-movement in Hamburg.

Dude, which time-stamp has the board for you? For me it says it's 3:05pm EST, but shouldn't it be 4:05pm EST right now? I am confused.

I use the board to counter-check the time differential between german time (GMT+1) and New York time (EST). There should be a difference of 6 hours between us, but according to this board it's just 5 hours. lol

For now it's calm, didn't went with them today though. I saw no point in looking on a already dead body and for sure didn't want to go in my grandpas house and listen to his sons already talking about how to divide things. No real ill will this time I'd say, just a lack of tact.

I have to start thinking too though, as all my stuff is kept in my grandpa's garage.

We won't suceed in selling the house that fast, but still. Well it's time to move on anyway, i was reluctant cause I don't know yet if i can keep the job, but it seems I won't have much of a choice soon.

Guess what my grandpa tried to run away again this night lol. Seems they have to chain him to the bad to keep him there.

All organs are failing him more and more, he's only one leg and still he is able to be so stubborn that he already is creating his own legend with the staff at the hospital :D

Obviously he also refuses to use the diapers they gave him, to avoid having him stand up.

I mainly stopped buying soccer jerseys, cause they change every other year, so the one you bought last year is already outdated.

Rangers jerseys are more expensive, but if I go buy the blue one I know it will look like this in 5 years and ignoring minor changes it will propably look like this in 20 years. So in long term they are actually much cheaper.

I would and probably should lol, but somehow I can just shake my head. The brother of my mother (I will refuse to call him uncle) finally returned from his holiday. What was his first action back home?

Why, go into the house of my grandfather and secure all money that was there and the gold coins my grandpa has, of course. I really dunno what he was thinking, that his siblings would try and steal those, to prevent him from getting his share of a inheritance that isn't even given out yet?

My grandfather isn't even dead yet, for god's sake. Bah.
