What's especially annoying is that you just know there's going to be games this series where the Rangers will absolutely dominate and Florida will steal one (maybe more). And so you just can't afford to have passive nights like this where you're essentially gifting them a game, rather than Florida going out and winning it on their own. 

Either way, their margin for error going forward is now razor thin. 

IMO Florida barely broke a sweat tonight. They executed their game plan to a tee. Igor wasn't his superhuman self but I'm pinning this loss on the rest of the team.

Where was the compete level? Where was the execution on the few quality chances they did get? Where was the attention to detail on a couple of the goals they did give up?

The good news is that all of the things which lost them the game were solely in the Rangers control and not so much on Florida. So fix your shit up and come back and tie this series up.

Yup, as I can't see them doing better than a split in Florida. Absolutely can't come back to MSG down 3-1. Sucks going into essentially a must-win already, but it is what it is.

One positive is that I haven't seen any Florida line be able to pin the Rangers in their zone for long stretches like the Guentzel line frequently did. They're looking better in this period so far, just gotta play their game as the chances are coming.

I hear you, I don't hate Chytil's play so far, but I was of the opinion that you start Rempe in Game 1 to see the tone of the series and then adapt from there. 

Rangers definitely getting the edge in quality chances, need to start capitalizing on some of these though, and better shot selection on Bob.

Florida has surely done their homework on which key Rangers to injure early in the series, it's obvious what their game plan is. I hope Rempe's the answer but not sure. In the meantime hoping the Rangers keep their heads up and the refs call it down the middle. 

Bit too tentative by the Rangers, I get they're trying to feel out Florida, but you can't let a road team come in and dictate the play like that on your home ice. No need to give them so much respect. You're the better fucking team, it's your arena and fans...fucking assert yourself and take this game.

Very uncharacteristic goal by Igor but let's hope he and the team rallies around that and picks up their intensity, as they've been a little too tentative and giving Florida more respect than they should IMO.
