Future
He has been dubbed a “key architect” of the Penguins’ championship teams in 2009 and 2016. Pittsburgh has reached the Eastern Conference finals again after eliminating Washington on Wednesday night. lol. This guy might be good, idk. But how can you possibly evaluate a guy who was gifted Crosby, Malkin, Fleury and Letang?
Vodka Drunkenski
Seriously, I could've put those teams together too. #MakeBSBHGreatAgain
Phil
lol. This guy might be good, idk. But how can you possibly evaluate a guy who was gifted Crosby, Malkin, Fleury and Letang? By looking at the work he did between the AHL and NHL where he had a huge role in cultivating guys like Rust, K?hnhackl, Sheary, Dumolin, etc. He's a big believer in a strong AHL pipeline. Don't be surprised when the Sabres start drafting well again and Rochester is serving as a feeding line to compliment the Sabres directly.

It's not like Pitt has been particularly good at drafting. Rochester already does that.

Maybe, but they're not irrelevant, and the structure of support built between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Pittsburgh is partially to thank for that.
