High and Wide Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 HBO just had a 3 episode preview of this show. So far, its pretty good. The show is about a turn of the century 'modern' hospital called the Knickerbocker in New York. It takes a look at the ground-breaking surgery of the time as well as the state of social affairs around 1900. Just a warning, but it is a bit gory as the central focus is surgery, but so far its been worth the watch. The only problem is that its on Cinemax.
