NYR2711
I don’t think that’s a good deal at all. He was OK this season, nothing spectacular though. Glad the Phillies paid it, not the Mets. Hoping they can re-sign Stroman.
BrooksBurner
The deal was actually 5 years 118 million (23.6M AAV). That is absolutely insane.
NYR2711
I’m curious what Stroudsberg is gonna ask for now.
Abe Froman
That's an obscene amount of money to play a game.

Dunny
I would have gave him that money to get him up here. I'm jealous.
TwoMinutesForNothing
He deserves it. He turned down more from the White Sox to take that deal in Philly. You can't find pitchers like him. He and Strasburg are similar, but Wheeler is 2 years younger and has way less innings on his arm. A guy like that hits the open market and teams are going to lineup for him. Hoping they can re-sign Stroman.i think Wheeler has a better arm than Stroman,i be pissed if the mets pay Stroman the same amount Wheeler got,i know the prices are going nuts for pitchers ,but Wheeler upside is better than Corbin who got a little more than Wheeler, disappointed we lost Wheeler
