Phil
http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20507831,00.html In an exclusive first-look at the season premiere of the Discovery Channel show, guest star Gyllenhaal joins outdoorsman Grylls on a two-day trek across Iceland. Traversing terrain dominated by mountains, glaciers and icy waters, the duo copes with some of the worst conditions known to man, all in the name of adventure. As Grylls, 37, forages for food before crossing a frigid river, Gyllenhaal, 30, looks on with bemusement, even proclaiming an edible root – a Viking delicacy, according to Grylls – "tasty." And then he is presented with the main course: a worm.

Sources tell THR, the relationship came to a screeching halt after 37-year-old Grylls refused to participate in two mystery projects he was contracted for. -- This sucks. NYR2711
He isnt doing that show anymore. They mutually split because they wanted him to do more shows, and he didnt feel like he was the right fit for them. He was on O and A 2 weeks ago talking about it, he said he didnt like the way it was going.
