I don’t see any realm where this is possible. Hope I’m wrong but what deal makes sense? Unless Miller is explicitly only sayin g he’s done in Vancouver and wants out, what would we possibly deal?

they don’t want our shitty spare parts, the two shittiest of whom in Mika and Trouba have NTCs to work around anyway. Trouba having a 21 team list is effectively a full NTC because we’re not trading him in division and Trouba would probably leave off teams without cap space/no need for a defenseman

if we aren’t moving a center, we end up having chytil on the 4th line?

kakko isn’t enough to get him.

anyone else Vancouver might want I think is mostly untouchable.

Vancouver also isn’t going to want futures for him. They want to win now.

No idea. I'd need a better idea of what they need first, because I don't ever watch Canucks games or follow the team.

Hey, we have a locker room problem. Let's bring in a guy with a history of them!! He's a stud but not sure this is the right move.

Miller would probably hate playing with half of this team and the other half would be frightened of him.

I think he would have a positive effect on guys like Cuylle, Berard, Tro, Schneider... A lot of the guys you would want to keep anyway.

The guys who would wilt under his competitive fire are Kreider, Fox, Miller, Kakko, Chytil... This is all just my guess, but these quiet soft-spoken types who play a soft game I think would grow tired of him quickly.

Was never realistic to begin with.

Not entirely dispositive. Also what a good GM would say anyway. Remains to be seen though; making trades dealing the cap and NMCs is way different than it was in the past.

Now I have to look up Libor Hajek's current profession.

We need a crying emoji just for this reason alone....

the guy has all kinds of issues on and off the ice. I dont think this team needs more problems when it is clearly is trying to get dispose of its own

"Miller is on personal leave, looking to get himself right. His return remains to be determined. The focus for the player is to get himself mentally back to where he was. That’s all. When he’s going to be back, Rutherford doesn’t know. The ball is in Miller’s court."

Sounds like a problem we DO NOT NEED. We already have Mika and his seemingly mental gymnastics this year. We certainly don't want to add to that.
