Until Miller is sat...it's hard to take coaching staff seriously. And I like the staff. Liberally losing games in large part because of him and instead there is an article written the other day calling him a star.

Because there are a lot more people who understand that sometimes good hockey players play badly, and those people don't reside in New York.

You can talk about sitting Miller all you want, but who's going to take that spot? Lindgren? Jones? You're going to throw a rookie out there and take those minutes with the team functioning as it is?

That doesn't seem particularly wise.

I Miller’s case i’d agree. He’s not as bad as he’s been playing lately.  In Zib’s case…i think the goose is cooked.

Uhh..have you watched the games this year? Mancini has outplayed Miller and its not even close.

Not like miller hit a 2 week slump. He's been bad for over a year.

Mancini has played 9 games.

But that's not really the point. The point is that Lindgren's decline is steeper and deeper than anyone's, and Jones isn't an everyday player at the top of a lineup. You want to play Mancini, that's fine, but not by taking Miller out.

What has Miller done to deserve to not sit? He has been legit awful in his zone for a year. For a team who is struggling defensively, he has not earned the right to keep going. So yeah...I'd rather player the kid with 9 games. He won't be worse.

The problem with taking Miller out is that no one else is going to take his minutes.

I guess I disagree that throwing a rookie with like 20 games experience is best served by throwing him out against the NHL's best players every night on a team that doesn't even have a defensive concept.

I'd go with playing top minutes in the AHL as being a better route.
