There's a true believer out there willing to pay up for him.

Jags fired Pedersen Giants issued a statement saying they're keeping Schoen and Daboll Brilliant!!! Thus ensuring they stay firmly on the path the are on to crater to the center of the earth. Just pick Deion lite for the trifecta and the mission will be on track for several more years.

I wonder, this Draft is supposedly weak at QB and the Giants will pick third, with both teams before them desperately needing QB. So maybe just suck another year and unload everyone next year and Pick a new QB with a new Coach. ....or do it the Bears way and pick a QB now, with a lame duck Headcoach and GM...worked so well in Chicago the last 3 times they did it.
Ozzy Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Good luck in the playoffs @H-Dreamer Dreamer! Maybe next season for us....(yeah, right!) LOL You guys should be able to beat the Rams.

Against the Packers it wasn't that bad yet and Jefferson and Addison plucked them from the sky, but in Detroit you had Receivers jumping up fully stretched out and the ball would still go a yard over their hands. Nobody should be taking QB's in the top 10 if there are no talents that deserve the pick. The biggest mistake NFL teams make is thinking they can change a prospect to be better than he currently is. This tendency has literally destroyed franchises, including the Jets and Giants.

It also destroyed QB careers or delayed them, as former Jets QBs show currently Bad teams have to make proper picks and not just high profile "it pleases the talking heads and fans" picks. 1

Another dud from the Vikings in the playoffs. How are you holding up? lol I'm not even a fan (although I do like them), and even I'm annoyed by it.
Ozzy Posted Tuesday at 02:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:00 PM Thought of you last night, Dreamer....sorry my man!
Br4d Posted Tuesday at 10:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:00 PM Sam Darnold is going to be on the open market is my guess. If he goes to a good team he'll be good. He's the kind of checkered early draft pick that might turn out well for a really solid franchise. Like Plunkett finally did with the Raiders. If he goes to the Jets it had better be a great QB whisperer HC bringing him in. Total disaster likely otherwise.
Vodka Drunkenski Posted Tuesday at 10:06 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:06 PM Sam Darnold is a backup, don’t be fooled 1

Not too well tbh, what annoys me even more is that it was obvious what was going to happen from the first Drive, no fire, no urgency. I went to bed midway through the second, because the body language of everyone on the Vikings from Head Coach to the Waterboy told me that they were losing this game. Seen this movie way too often. KOC looked resignated in the first Quarter. Like WTF man? Can't even get angry at that one refball moment, even though it was BS and stole the chance to maybe see the team wake up, but they just gave up afterwards, so no right to complain about it. (gotta say though, every QB should just take a chance and make a bowling move when he gets sacked, apparently as long as the hand moves an inch forward it's an incomplete pass, that's some tuck rule grade BS. At worst it should have been intentional grounding, but Puka stood around somewhere in the general direction lol) Don't know how many 13+ win teams had to play in the Wildcard before they took away the 2nd place Bye-Week, but only two teams in NFL history have lost in the Wildcard round after winning 13 or more games during the regular season. Yes you guessed it, both those teams are the Vikings....

Sharpshooter Posted Wednesday at 05:17 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:17 AM Are you ready for Aaron Rodgers in Minnesota?
Sharpshooter Posted Wednesday at 01:07 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:07 PM He has to do it to replicate and complete the Bret Favre journey. Packers to Jets to Vikings and then retire.
Blue Heaven Posted Wednesday at 01:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:14 PM I'd take Darnold as Tua's backup b/c for sure he'll get into 4+ games a year

He's too good to be on the Raiders. We only use washed up, back-up QB's that have just about nothing left. We'll get Darnold in about 10 more years! LOL

It's not like there's ever been a Hall of Fame Packers QB that left Green Bay for the Jets and then went to the Vikings for some inexplicable reason despite being just so clearly over the hill. Who would do such a thing?
