For years I thought it was all about Tom Brady and Bill Belichik.  The losses large and small over the years.  However it's clear now that Brady and Belichik had nothing to do with the fact that the Jets just could not beat the Pats.  It was all about the Jets.

Not GOAT Brady.  Not Supersquirrel Belichik.  Just the Jets sucking so bad you couldn't lose to them.

Pretty much. It was a combination of the two. The Patriots being elite for two decades, and the Jets, not so much. The same thing with the Pats and Bills, whom they also feasted on. I think Tom was like 35-3 or something insane like that against them in his career.

But yeah, the Jets are just an awful franchise with so much bad juju.

I thought of you right away when that happened.  I looked at my phone waiting for the distress call to cut you down from the noose!  LOL

I don't know what the Giants are doing here, but it's funny.

Also apparently the Fighting Irish have more TDs at the Meadowlands this season that Jets and Giants combined and they only played one game there.

They took that play from Adam Sandler's playbook in the Longest Yard!  Someone should let them know that TV isn't reality!  LOL

Not that I should talk because the fucking Raiders TOTALLY suck ass!  ...but that play was pretty funny!

New York metropolitan football is a disaster, and has been for a long time. The Giants had that good run to the postseason in 2022, but overall have been a dumpster fire like the Jets.

The Mara's had girls last generation.  No boys to grow up to be knowledgeable fanatical owners.

Well. That was a game allright. Vikings dominated the Jaguars in all categories, they win 12-7 without scoring a TD.

Sam Darnold throwing 3 Picks, 2 in the Endzone and then they were scared to throw in the Redzone afterwards.

Jaguars are just so bad, we couldn't lose anyway. Getting 3 Turnovers and a stupid personal Foul in the 4th Quarter to ice the win.

If you guys can pull a win out of your ass when Sam Darnold throws 3 picks I think you have a decent shot at trying to knock off Mahomes.

The Lions took on that challenge and won after Goff threw 5 picks, so I don't think we see the Chiefs this season. 😂

The Lions are definitely on my short list of potential Mahomes victors.  Vikings make that list also.

Sure feels like half the league sits at 2 or 3 wins. The Playoffs spots feel mostly settled as well.

Only question is who wins the NFC South and West and can the Broncos hold on to their spot.

Already a 2-win gap between 7 and 8 in the NFC and only the Colts are within one game in the AFC.

Imagine going 14-3, but still feeling doomed to be one and done in the Playoffs.

Might be because the losses were to the Lions and Rams and they lost to the Rams after losing to the Lions and now play the Rams after losing to the Lions again.

Not to mention they didn't really play many good teams this season.

Vikings have like 3 wins against teams with winning records, two of which are against the Packers and the third against the weakest team remaining in the whole Playoffs aka the Texans.

Honestly, it feels stupid that you won 14 games but because the Lions won 15 and happen to be in the NFC North too, you're now a 5 seed and don't even get a home game. It wouldn't be as bad if the Rams or the Bucs were actually close, but they're both getting home games and sitting on 4 fewer wins. Feels wrong.

Yh, but they will never change that.

I hate everything about the situation, feels like it will be a repeat of 2 years ago against the Giants and this time it will be at 2am for me on a work night too, so I can watch us choke and then suffer the next day, because of only like 2 hours of sleep.

Probably not, but the NFL has had so many of these situations that something like "Winning your division guarantees a playoff spot, but seeding is based on record" will surely come into discussion sooner or later.

Black Monday is upon us.

So far....

Jags fired Pedersen

Giants issued a statement saying they're keeping Schoen and Daboll

I think the Pats unloaded Mayo too, G.
