Sod16 Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 When the Wild was forced to trade Fiala as part of their Parise-Suter contract doom loop, everyone thought the franchise was totally hurting. Ironically, getting Faber and a No. 1 pick (who's also a good prospect) for Fiala turns out to be a great deal for them. The contract is a good idea. He's a homey who should be content, and they can let someone else get stuck with the seven (or eight) year contract that he signs at age 29.
