Hard to sit Igor after how brilliant he looked. But this gives him the shortest form of rest. If he sits Tuesday, he gets 3 days off. I want him back out there ASAP but this is a Halak start for sure. And it’s a game we should win, but time and time again these games have always been presented as a letdown coming off 2 emotional rivalry games. If we play hard and smart, we should kick the shit out of this team. So, let’s play hard and smart, yes?

Josi apparently got hurt last night as well and is DTD.

Honestly...they're banged up, their defense is almost C team here, if you put a gun to my head and asked me to name the 12 starters on their offense today, I couldn't have done it, and Saros is almost assuredly sitting after playing yesterday.

This is a trap game. But it's absolutely one we should win handily.

This has the smell of a letdown game if ever there was one.

This team is cumming.

Time to handle business in the 2nd game of a back to back tonight.  Keep up the pressure on NJ and even Carolina by continuing to crank out wins.  At this point it is beginning to feel like the opponents are not providing as much competition for the Rangers as our own lines are with each other.

Good times.

Then again, a 6-0 beat down of a divisional rival is always going to make the fans feel,,,, turgid.
