Always thought Gurianov was a playoff kind of player. Don’t understand the move for Dallas. Good for the Rangers I guess if it hurts the Stars and helps the 1st.

Dallas clears up $400k in cap space and gets the slightly better player. Both are bottom-6ers at this stage in their careers.

 

Dadanov is also UFA after this year, while Gurianov is RFA with arb rights. Not that it means much since he's had such a bad season.
